In October 2015 it was opened in the newly built collection yard in Frenštát. The new collection yard is located within the Technical Services on the street Střelniční.
Scrap yard is intended for residents of the city after Frenštát Radhoštěm to temporarily store the waste category O (others) and N (dangerous). It was built thanks to a grant awarded under the Operational Programme Environment. Total spending on construction and equipment of collecting yard were approx. CZK 19 million, the grant was paid in the amount of approximately 17.1 miles. CZK deductible cities amounted to about 1.9 mil. CZK. Subsidies includes the contribution of the State Environmental Fund of approximately one mile. CZK and the amount of approximately 16.1 miles CZK paid by the European Union Cohesion Fund.The project included the construction and purchase of paved areas, storage facilities, facilities for handling, hall storage of hazardous waste, bulk containers for different types of waste. There were performed landscaping, including planting of greenery and a retention tank for collecting rainwater. The project also includes the supply of interior equipment's collection, in addition to these containers then purchase backhoe grapple with bio-waste handling and disposal of bulk waste in cubicles and scales for weighing records přivezeného waste.
At the collection yard will occur only dotřízení waste. The aim of the project was to build capacity sufficient scrap yard, which will be used to collect waste from the citizens of the town Frenstat pod and create conditions for selective waste collection, which can be delivered to authorized persons for reuse.
From December 1st 2015 the collection center opened recently, on Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
